Cutera (CUTR) is Worth Checking Out
I really like Cutera based on the three most commonly followed measurements of investing (fundamentals, valuations, and technicals). CUTR makes lasers to remove skin imperfections, which will be popular among Baby Boomers (1/3 of US population). The stock has a PEG ratio below 1.00, and has an encouraging chart. Today, the CUTR trades at $27.
Dendreon (DNDN) is Looking to Jump
Dendreon has been an extremely volatile stock over the past year. They make drugs that battle prostate and breast cancers, two very significant diseases. I have a hunch the company will get FDA approval for their drugs, but the timing may be what holds the stock down. DNDN can be a good long-term speculative stock if you can stomach the moves.
Syntax-Brillian (BRLC) Looks to be a Good Buy
Check out BRLC. The company has an extremely high short interest, and has improving fundamentals. Also, the forward P/E is only 7.69, and the PEG ratio is a miniscule 0.48. Consider buying soon before earnings on Monday 8/20/07. Do your homework first! The stock currently trades at $6.38, and I expect it to reach $10 in a year or less.
Good Short Sell-MRU Holdings (UNCL)
MRU Holdings (UNCL) is losing more and more money each year. UNCL originates "pre-prime" student loans, which is a fancy way of saying "sub-prime", and they charge microscopic interest rates on their risky loans. There is a very small short interest in the stock. UNCL should tank from the mid $5's pretty soon.
Pro-Dex (PDEX), a Possible BIG Gainer!
An extremely small company, and small stock. PDEX is profitable, and may win some key contracts to boost earnings. The recent chart pattern is very encouraging. I expect PDEX to reach more than $3 in a year or less.
IsoTis (ISOT) May Make Big Move Higher
IsoTis is a likely buy-out candidate as the company has a key patent to create ultra-potent Bone Morphogenetic Proteins used to help bone grow back together. ISOT could be attractive to large orthopedic companies looking to add cutting-edge products to their portfolios.
InsWeb (INSW) Set for Another Leg Up
CEO of INSW has been nibbling at shares. Recent news on the company's AgentInsider program is positive. Current quarter must be going well. Short-term price target is $9-10.
Taser International (TASR) Set for Short Squeeze
With newly-elected French President Sarkozy stating he wants to put Tasers in all 100,000 French police cars, TASR is a screaming buy at $10.90. One year price target is $15-16.
Pro-Dex (PDEX) on Cusp of a Break-Out
Keep your eye on Pro-Dex (PDEX) for a break above $1.70. The stock may quickly run to $2.00 if it can break through this level. Company makes products for the healthcare and aerospace industries.
Abatix (ABIX) May be Near Fair Value
Considering the stock's move over the past few months (roughly 65%), ABIX may be due for a breather or correction. I sold my holdings in the stock on Fri 5/25/07 at $11.40. If the stock falls to under $10 in the short-term it may pose another buying opportunnity.
Hirsch International (HRSH)
Keep your eye on HRSH. Consider buying if the stock falls to around $4.00. The company recently reported great earnings and will likely continue to do so in the future. One year target is $10.
Nice Spike in Abatix (ABIX) Shares
ABIX spiked to $9.30 over last two trading sessions on better than expected earnings. Company should do well despite any hurricanes, throw in one or two and ABIX should trade in the mid teens.
National Dentex (NADX) Worth $24
Considering that NADX will likely earn $1.60 per share for 2007, the stock is extremely under-valued at today's level ($15.09). NADX is a growing company, and thus deserves a P/E of 15 or higher in my opinion. Based on 2007 earnings of $1.60 per share, a P/E of 15 would yield a price for NADX of $24. However, you must be patient with a low float stock like NADX. The market will take a while to realize the company's true worth. Due to NADX's low float, when the market does catch-on, it will be very quick.
Bluegreen (BXG) at Huge Discount!
Giving BXG a forward P/E of 15, and estimated 2008 EPS of $1.47, the stock should trade at $22. Today BXG is at $12.27 (45% discount). The market will eventually get the clue.
Excellent Time to Buy Abatix (ABIX)
You gotta do your due-diligence on ABIX. This company is doing quite well, despite the weak hurricane season of 2006. Check the chart for the stock, as you will see it is begging for a break-out. If 2007 brings a moderate hurricane season, ABIX will jump to the low teens in no time.
Omnivision Tech (OVTI) Bottoming
OVTI is a maker of chips for cameras and camera phones. Stock has been hit very hard over the past year, and the selling seems to be over done. OVTI looks to be ready to rebound, and with a 40% short interest in the stock-the move higher will be fierce.
Nanogen (NGEN) Looks to Break-Out
Small bio-tech diagnostic company looks to be breaking-out. Could reach $4-5 within a year. Stock traded at $100 in the year 2000.
National Dentex (NADX) Bottoming
National Dentex (NADX) appears to be bottoming at $14 level. Dental business should be profitable industry as Baby-Boomers (who comprise 1/3 of the population) continue to age.
IsoTis Orthobiologics (ISOT) Bottoming
IsoTis (ISOT) is a rare find. Very small bio-tech stock that is growing revenues, lowering operating costs, and with the stock trading at $5.82- ISOT is well below Book Value. Many CEO's of orthopedic company's have said that orthobiologics is the future of the industry. Look for this stock to bottom soon and possibly get bought-out. One year price target is $15.
InsWeb (INSW) is Ramping Up
INSW is a stock to keep your eye on. Trades at $7.11 today. Company is set to continue revenue growth and expects to stay profitable for the foreseeable future after posting their first profitable quarter. One year price target is $12-15.
Abatix (ABIX) Continues to Trend Higher
Chart looks pretty promising. ABIX currently trades at $8.10. May be breaking out to double digits soon. Stock is a hurricane play due to disaster clean-up products. A moderate hurricane season for 2007 will spike revenues. One year price target is $13.
J. Alexander's (JAX) Still Under-Valued
JAX is a small fine-dining restaurant chain (28 locations) that is increasing profits and is under-valued compared to peers. At $14 per share, the stock trades at 1.58 x's Book Value. Stock is fairly-valued at $17.60. One year price target is $17-18.
Avanir Pharma (AVNR) Positive Clinical Results
Company reported positive clinical results for new drug. News could propel stock to $10 in a year's time. One year price target $10-11.
